In Room 4 we have been learning about simple fractions. We now know how to find a half, a quarter and one whole of a shape. To show our knowledge, we decided to make pretend pizza and cut it into different fractions.
Success Criteria:
- Understand what 'equal parts' mean.
- Know how many equal parts are needed to make halves and quarters.
We are learning about halves. You get halves when you cut the pizza in the middle. The pieces have to be the same size. You could share the pizza with two people. There is broccoli on my pizza. I love mushrooms.
